Voice Over Audition

Voice over audition plays a very crucial role in every voice over artist’s life.  After qualifying as a professional VA, one must be equipped with the right demo reel and must upload it to all websites as samples. Now begins the auditions. Whenever your agent sends your demo to the casting director, you will be called for audition. Some casting directors will ask for your samples and listen to your own acting performance and some will ask you to perform some portion of the intended program and will then do the judgment.

You have to concentrate more before and during an audition. Before the audition, preparation for it is very necessary. Go through similar sort of scripts, record them and listen to your voice. Know your strength and weakness and play according to it. Read loud and in case you have the script beforehand, thorough study of the script and practice on it will do you good. During the audition, thorough studying of the script and keep your nerves calm will lead you to success.
